Clowning as care, not distraction.
Humanitarian clowning brings trained performers into settings shaped by displacement, illness, crisis, or grief. The work is simple on the surface: music, movement, games, mime, and laughter. Underneath, it is careful psychosocial support that restores choice, imagination, and ordinary childlike joy for a few bright minutes.
